Pre-season report

Exeter Harrier's Mens Team begin their 2007 Track & Field season with their first fixture on Saturday 5th May at the Mayesbrook Arena in East London.

 
In 2006 the team had an amazing season by finish 4th ( out of 25 teams) in Division One of the Southern Men's League and reaching the Qualifying Match for admittance to the National British League.
 
Maurice Ault, Team Manager said " Last year was fantastic and this year I think we will achieve great things. We have a committed squad of over 30 athletes who are totally determined to exceed last year's individual performances and to excell as a team. We have some very promising youngsters coming through the Harrier's Coaching System who will challenge strongly for places in the Senior Team. I am very excited about our prospects for the coming season".
 
Our competitors for the first fixture are: Chelmsford - newly promoted from Division 2, tough rivals Newham who finished 5th last year - just behind Exeter,  Serpentine RC - 14th last year and the host club Havering Mayesbrook AC - 16th last year.
